Customize Theme

One of the feature requests that we’ve been getting from our early adopters is the ability to change the look and feel of the widget. As users of our own dog food, we feel this problem as well. So in our recently closed sprint, Customization was a top priority. As of today, Offerchat now allows its users to customize the theme of their widget - change color, headline text, etc.

Chat with your visitors

As the core functionality of Offerchat, the first line of codes we wrote was for this module. You can chat with your visitors when they invite you, or you can proactively invite them to a chat.

One Operator Account

In November, we will go public beta and by then, you can create unlimited operator accounts. For now though, only one agent can login and chat with users.

Unlimited concurrent chats

Although unable to create unlimited operator accounts, Offerchat allows you to chat with unlimited number of active visitors concurrently.

View Customer Info

Knowledge is power. Offerchat gives you the knowledge you need to relate to your customers. Data like browser used, OS used, page viewed, and location.

Save and access responses

Now you can save FAQs on Offerchat and then use them later when you chat with another visitor asking the same question. Another cool functionality we added is a one-key trigger that allows you to use a saved response using the “/” plus the tag (e.g. /welcome). We know how some people hate the keyboard-to-mouse switch, so this feature will come in handy.

Message counter

This is another step closer to getting a solid notification system in place. Basically, the message counter lets you know how many unread chat messages you received.

Automatic positioning of cursor

Another good addition to those who hates switching from keyboard to mouse. This automatically points the text cursor to the chat box when an agent clicks on a visitor widget.

Leave a message widget

When you’re offline, the chat widget gets replaced with a leave a message widget. This
