Adding Live Chat Agents to Your Offerchat Account
Adding agents to your Offerchat account is very easy and can be done anytime, anywhere.
What you need:
- Login details to your Offerchat account.
- Agent’s full name
- Email address of the agent
Steps:
1. Login to your Offerchat account. Note that adding live chat agents can only be done by account owners/administrators.
2. Go to Members on the global navigation section found over at the top right of the dashboard. The dashboard view will change into a complete list of all member users under your account. It could be empty or populated with several entries.
3. Click Add Member to add a new live chat agent. The dashboard view will change to the New Member screen.
4. Fill out the details in the new member form. Specify the agent’s full name, email address and set the role to chat agent.
5. Click Save Member to confirm adding your new live chat agent.
A prompt will appear to inform you that the new live chat agent has been successfully added. You might want to coordinate with your new live chat agent and do some testing. The new live chat agent will only be able to login to the Offerchat dashboard using the email address you specified when you created the new member. An email containing the login details will be sent to the user you’ve added after the whole process, so make sure to type in the preferred email address of the new live chat agent.
