This tutorial contains walkthrough instructions on how to manually insert the live chat code to your Joomla site’s HTML template. Click the image thumbnails in this tutorial for a larger view of the screenshots.

What you need:

1. Offerchat account
2. Joomla back end access

Step 1: Access the back end of your Joomla site

Step 2: Go to Template Manager from the admin dashboard

Step 3: Click Templates

Step 4: Click Edit main page template

Step 5: Open another browser and login to Offerchat

Step 6: Copy the widget code

Step 7: Add the code to your template

Go back to the Joomla tab with the template editor open. Look for the closing head tag and paste the code

Step 8: Click Save to successfully add the code to your Joomla site.
